FBC Women's Retreat: Get ready for this year's edition of the ever popular women's getaway at Camp Lebanon. You'll want to get your registration in ASAP if you haven't already! Click this link for more information and for access to the registration forms (or go to the welcome center at church). Our church ladies will be attending Session 2: October 3-5, 2008.

 

FBC MEN’S RETREAT: Great times around the campfire, a round of golf, shooting trap, deep devotional time in God’s Word, grilled steak... maybe you have other favorites...  Go to http://www.camplebanon.org/ mensretreat.html for more information on this year’s opportunity, September 19th-21st. You can also find registration forms and brochures in the welcome center.

 

Young adults are invited to enjoy a home-cooked meal and fellowship with other young adults. Sunday, August 24th at 1 PM Ralph and Mary Jensen will host you at their home in Columbia Heights. No RSVP is required... just come and enjoy. Directions are available here.


Park Play Dates: Friday Mornings this summer parents/guardians and children are invited to join other FBC friends at parks around the twin cities on Fridays from 10am to Noon. Bring a bag lunch and make a picnic out of the event.

· Friday, August 22nd at Brookview Park in Golden Valley on Highway 55 and Winnetka.

Walk By Ministry: This year we are reaching out to our neighbors and passersby with ice cold bottled water and cookies! On Thursdays from 4-6pm we'll be reaching out to those who walk by our building. Sign up early to bring a baked good o to help pass out these goodies to our neighbors. Children are welcome!

 

Impact Remix: FBC Youth, we'll be meeting a few times this summer on Wednesday nights to hang out and learn about the Bible in a unique way. Students can expect some mini field trips, wild games and some Bible lessons they won't easily forget. The final Impact Remix meets at 6:30pm on August 27th.

Renovation & Restoration is a call to bring people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  God is restoring and uniting our hearts as we grow in dependence upon him.  The renovation of our building, for the sake of greater outreach and ministry, is a natural expression of this restoration.
